Here's how to subscribe to the UCDigref-l list:
send an email to listserv@ucop.edu with the message
subscribe ucdigref-l My Name
(where "My Name" is the person's name)
The listserv sends the person a message with a link, and the person is
subscribed after they visit the link in the email.
If you want to unsubscribe, you can just send an email to
listserv@ucop.edu with the message
unsubscribe ucdigref-l
