**If 1st day of instruction coincides with 1st day of term. If term begins before instruction, extend Winter Intercession schedule to also staff from 1st day of semester to 1st day of instruction (e.g. Winter Intercession 2011-12).

Important Dates
- The goal is to maintain the same schedule throughout the year.
- To reduce confusion and missed shifts, the intersession schedule should be the same as 9-5, Monday-Friday.
- Deadlines are approximate.

July 15 : Assign evenings to staff UC queue for weeks in Aug/Sept when UCB and UCM begin classes.
Aug. 1: Send draft Fall Term schedule to DRSST.
Aug. 15: Update wiki, send final Fall Term schedule to DRSST.
Late August: Send reminder to UCDIGREF-L re assigned summer evening hours.
Sept 1: Update Humanity calendar with UC chat schedule.
Labor Day: UC system will not be staffing due to holiday.
Veteran’s Day: UC system will not be staffing due to holiday.
Nov. 22, 23, 24: Closed for evening shift Nov. 22, and all day Nov 23 & Nov 24.
Nov. 15: Send draft schedules for Winter Intercession and Winter Term to DRSST.
Late Nov.: Update Humanity calendar with UC chat intercession schedule.
Dec. 1: Update wiki, send final Winter Term schedule to DRSST, and update Humanity calendar.
Feb. 15: Send draft Spring Term schedule to DRSST.
March 1: Update wiki, send final Spring Term schedule to DRSST, and update Humanity calendar.
March 1: Update wiki with Spring Intercession schedule, notify DRSST, and update Humanity calendar.
Cesar Chavez Day: UC system will not be staffing due to holiday.
May 1: Send draft summer schedule to DRSST.
May 15: Update wiki, send final summer schedule to DRSST, and update Humanity calendar.
